Vehicles like the Ford Mustang, Porsche Boxster, and BMW 3 Series have maintained their high-horsepower spots on this list for several years now. We're not so sure that's a flaw, though, as the resulting list is tough to argue with. To be sure, it's an impressive selection of cars that combine heart-pounding performance and frugal sensibilities, but it also represents something of a broken record on the part of C/D.
By that we are referring Car and Driver and the announcement of its annual 10Best vehicles for 2013. There have been no bids at time of writing, but with nine days left in the auction, we'll be keeping our eyes on this one.Ĭar and Driver lists 10Best for 2013, same as it ever was Wed, 13:30:00 ESTįorgive us for having the distinct feeling of déjà vu, but it certainly feels like we've been here before. If the story checks out, then this is one valuable NSX, which is reflected in the high minimum starting bid of 47,500 pounds ($73,620). Thankfully the car has been kept stock, so whoever buys it can enjoy driving it just as Senna did - that is, if the car actually is what it's claimed to be. The seller claims to have owned T000999, which is still in Portugal, for 17 years, and the 31,000-mile odometer indicates it was driven about 1,500 miles per year on average. He also was known to drive two other NSXs, a black one and a red one - the latter in which he was seen often. T000999 was given to Senna as a gift from his mentor and sponsor, Antonio de Almeida Braga, the seller claims, and it was stored at a palace near the Estoril F1 circuit in Portugal. It's not often that things owned by the late Ayrton Senna come up for sale, but the seller of this black-on-black 1993 Honda NSX (aka, Acura NSX) eBay find claims it was once owned by the Formula One legend, and that he left a footprint on the factory carpet that can still be seen today. That's right, for the next few days (November 18 to 22), people that use the hashtag #XOXOBolton on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or Vine, will be entered to win one-of-a-kind "musical greeting cards" from the now very blond crooner.
In an effort to promote its annual holiday-season sales event, Honda has tapped the multitalented Bolton - he sings, acts and stares longingly at you from across the room - to dangle himself as a prize for ardent social media users. (We're assuming that Kenny G was booked.) We don't see how this can backfire, Honda. Honda meanwhile, has reeled in the biggest fish in the 1990s Soft Pop category, the ineffable Michael Bolton. There's nothing like landing a big celebrity for a high-profile advertising campaign to say to the world "Our brand has still got it!" Dodge, for instance, has been getting huge publicity by landing Will Ferrell as Ron Burgundy, to pitch its entire lineup on TV and on YouTube. Must take care by tightening each side slowly everything must stay even on the roof I’ve had to re-position one I did not use the specs because it just didn’t make any sense where the racks were located, good luck everyone. I am missing the rubber strips on the top of the racks that go in the channels they did not come with any of my rhino RACKS it’s kind of disappointing because it shows it in the picture and it shows it even in every video that I’ve seen out there other than that not bad I will be calling you on the phone to try to get these to myself so I don’t have to buy them individually they’re not very expensive! I believe they called vortex strips I need four of them again they go on the top of the rack I ordered two sets of racks yes they look wonderful except this one flaw.
